Established in 2002 as Biograde Limited, we have expanded rapidly to become Cardia Bioplastics, a global business with head quarters and Global Applications Development Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Our Product Development Centre and manufacturing plant is in Nanjing, China.

We also have offices in Europe and the Americas, and a network of leading distributors across Australia, the Americas, Europe and Asia. Our key people are skilled plastics industry leaders widely recognised for their sustainable resins expertise.

As Biograde, we were the exclusive supplier of biodegradable packaging to the 2008 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, were awarded the Australian Chamber of Commerce "Australia-China Business Excellence Award" in 2008, and won the 2009 "Clean Equity Monaco Conference Award" for Excellence in the field of Environmental Technology Commercialisation.
