Source Int'l, LP was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 1989 by the late W. Earl Vondran and opened its first Asia sourcing office in 1990 in Taipei, Taiwan. A venture capital firm acquired Source in 1993, keeping the existing management in place and strengthening the company financially. By 1995, Source opened its first mainland China office in Hefei, Anhui moving it to Xiamen, Fujian in 1997. Source was acquired by the current Managing Partners between 1997- 1998, after which a new growth spurt began. Supply Agreements with key Customers and Operating Agreements with core dedicated Factories were developed during the late 1990's and early 2000's putting the company in its current strategic position as a leader in the Supply Management industry.
