Zhejiang Huiwenmei Stove Co., Ltd (formerly Shengzhou Stove Manufacturer, SSM) was founded in 1979. We have over 40 years of experience manufacturing highly efficient cooking stoves, nearly 20 years of exporting to the foreign user base, and rich experience and data accumulation concerning heat transfer, combustion efficiency, and materials selection. We have worked closely with the Gates-funded Global Health Laboratories, the Clean Cooking Alliance, Aprovecho Research Center, Red Cross, and the UN High Commission on Refugees. SSM has been working with our Carbon Credit partners and has exported over 1.5 million stoves over the last 6 years. SSM invested four million dollars in 2020-2021 to increase production capacity to 2 million highest quality, durable, low emission cookstoves annually. The expansion has resulted in SSM being the most integrated and modern manufacturing company for clean cookstoves.
We have won many domestic and foreign awards. In 2009, SSM won the Ashden Energy Champion's certificate that Prince Charles presented. In the same year, the US Environmental Protection Agency presented SSM with the "Special Achievement Award for Clean Indoor Air. " The former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton paid close attention to our products and took photos with our products. Since 2013, our company has been invited to participate in the CCA forums. In 2019, our company and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding agreement to develop new types of clean stoves together. We continue to maintain a factory based on environmental protection, expand the scope of research in our state-of-the-art ISO 19867 in-house laboratory, and work hard to address global environmental protection and climate change by supplying improved cookstoves valued by cooks and families worldwide.
