Bä Umerdevelops tailor-made block storagerack systems and crane systems forhandling blocks of raw material inlengths of 10 - 120 metres. The ABLG I cut-off machine cuts thecontinuously produced foam to anylengths at the end of the foamingplant. Belt systems then take on theblocks to allow them to cure gently. Crane systems and belt systemsare computer-controlled and workfully automatically. Weighing andprinting machines for blocks of rawmaterial with direct link to operatingdata recording systems facilitate therecording of material. Foils with thicknesses of between0.8 mm and 30 mm are cut fromcontinuous rings of glued blocks of20 m to 120 m in length by the BSV-Elongitudinal splitting machine.

Vertical/horizontal cutting

The first processing step for further processing of blocks is vertical cutting.

We supply both simple IS-L slidingtable machines and vertical IS-Mcutting machines. Our selectionof products, which comprises acomplete range for vertical cutting, also includes fully automaticintegration of BZM-A or BZM-Iblock trimming machines into fullyautomatic PC-controlled cutting lines. Our horizontal stack cutting machinesof the BSL and BST series process theblocks to sheets. The sheets remainflat on top of each other and donot need to be removed. The BSL-Dand BST-D turntable machines areused for cutting thin sheets or largeproduct series and are also availableas fully automatic versions withloading and unloading systems. The BSR I horizontal splitting machineis particularly suitable for cuttingheavy foams, compound foamsand special materials such as PE, neoprene and rubber rebond foam. The sheets can be stacked on palletsfully automatically with the help of adownstream stacking device.

Contour cutting - vertical/horizontal

Our OFS 222 series machines, withtheir oscillating knife and unrivalledaccuracy of contours, are particularlyimpressive in the field of horizontalcontour cutting. OFS-HE 3 seriesmachines, with their circulating knife, cut at very high speeds of up to40 m/min. Use in conjunction with amanual or fully automatic turntablealso makes it possible to cut threedimensionalparts and mattresses. Our OFS-VT and OFS-VS are thequickest vertical contour cuttingmachines available on the market. They cut stacks of sheets at speedsof up to 120 m/min, whether it belined materials, polyester, web oreven special materials, such as PEor compound foam. All contourcutters can be combined with othermachines to form fully automaticcutting lines. The HFS and OFS 221 contourcutting machines work with a specialcutting wire, which circulates at highspeed, and can process both hardand soft foam, PE, neoprene, rebondfoam with high density.
