Panjin Heyun Industrial Group Co., Ltd was founded in 2001 with registered capital one billion RMB and site area 2 860, 000m2. With staff more than two thousand, Heyun is a comprehensive private petrochemical group integrating production, sale, storage and logistics together. The headquarter locates on the beautiful and bountiful shore of Bohai Sea, in the famous "wetland"_Panjin city, Liaoning Province, which borders on Panjin Harbor, only 70kM away from shipside. The Group has great geographical advantages for transportation, quite close to Jing-Shen railway, directly connecting with both Yingkou and Dalian ports via Pan-Hai-Ying expressway. Moreover, a sideline from the port nearby directly links to the plant area.

Relying on technical innovation, Heyun Group has set up first class R&D centers and pilot plants, also established multi-lateral technical cooperation platforms with known colleges and science & development institutes at home and abroad, which, shows favorable technical support for Group's development. The group has successively concluded strategic cooperation agreements with Russian Yaroslavl Research Institute, Russian Federal State Unitary Institute of Synthetic Rubber and A. V. Topchiev Petrochemical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences to set up research institutes in Panjin for jointly developing advanced technology of synthetic rubber production and other chemical technologies. Until now, it has been determined to develop certain kinds of special rubbers, the technology of producing polycarbonate from carbon dioxide and technology of gasoline production from methanol and dimethyl ether.

The projects of butyl rubber(IIR for short), halogenated butyl rubber(HIIR for short), and isoprene rubber fill the gap at home and they are taken as important supporting & developing projects included in the "twelfth five-year plan" and strategic new industry program.
