In recent years, along with the improvement of people's living standard in our country and increasing attention to food safety and health care, eels, as valuable traditional food, have long been an export commodity, and the consumption culture of roasted eel in Japan is especially prevalent. However, Japan implements the policy of protecting its own eel-raising industry, while imposing a series of unreasonable pressures and hostile comments on the roasted-eel products from China. In addition to these reasons, the economic depression in recent years in Japan also LED to the withered consumption of roasted-eel products from the original tens of thousands tons to merely less than 50000 tons (China's exports of roasted-eel products to Japan are only less than 20000 tons). To respond to recommendations made from Fujian Eel Industry Association, our company believes that eel feed production, eel culture and eel processing should be integrated to form into a complete industrial chain and the export-oriented business model should be transformed the domestic sale. Thus, it is of extremely significance to develop domestic market, as long as the sustained development can be achieved in China's eel industry. With this vision, Fujian Chang Xi Import & Export Trading Co., Ltd was established in October 2014, under the joint efforts made by Fujian Chang Xi Eel Farming Co., Ltd, Fujian Coland-Nosan Feed Co. Ltd. And FUQING FURONG Food Co., Ltd. For the production of "Outsider" branded kabayaki roasted-eel products under the banner of Fujian Chang Xi, FUQING FURONG Food Co., Ltd was supervised to produce and roast eel products in accordance with the quality requirements for exports to Japan, by using the special eel feed from Fujian Coland-Nosan Co. Ltd during the entire process and selecting high quality fresh eels by strict scientific breeding management as food material.
