1998-2005: Entrepreneurship foundation and technology accumulation
Zhengda brakes Technology Co., Ltd. Was established in June 1998 and is headquartered in Xiyuan Industrial Zone, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, China. In the early stage, it focused on the research and development and production of automotive brake linings. With its keen insight into technological innovation, the company was the first to pass the ISO 9001 international quality management system certification in 2003, becoming one of the earliest companies in the industry to establish a standardized management system. During this stage, the company's products were centered on the "Yanjun" brand, covering six major series such as sedans and mini cars. It gradually established supporting cooperation with Hafei Group and Harbin Light Vehicle General Factory, laying the foundation for the domestic market.
2006-2015: Technological breakthroughs and capacity upgrades
In 2006, the company ushered in a key turning point - the approval of two national invention patents "New process for cold pressing and hot pressing curing of disc plates" and "New technology for overflow cap plugging", marking its technological leadership in the field of friction materials. During this period, R&D investment continued to increase, and innovative products such as composite mineral fiber reinforced brake pads were launched, with performance reaching the "international advanced" level. At the same time, the production base was expanded to 44, 000 square meters, and automated mixing, cold pressing and curing production lines were introduced, with annual production capacity ranking among the top in China. Products began to be exported to the European, American, Japanese and Korean markets, and a global sales network was initially established.
2016-2020: Global layout and certification breakthrough
The company officially joined the China Friction and Sealing Materials Association in 2016 and became a member of the National Friction Materials Standard Drafting Committee, deeply involved in the formulation of industry standards. In 2020, it passed the 3C safety and quality certification, and started the preparation work for the IATF 16949 automotive industry quality management system certification, further aligning with international standards. During this stage, the overseas market expansion has achieved remarkable results, with sales in emerging markets such as Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and South Africa increasing by more than 30% annually, and products covering mainstream certification systems such as European ECE R90 and American FMVSS 121D. In the domestic market, we have reached long-term OE supporting cooperation with leading automakers such as JAC Motors, FAW Group, and Longgong, with a market coverage rate of over 90%.
2021 to date: Sustainable development and product diversification
In 2021, the company established an international trade center in Beijing to build an integrated global service network of "R&D - production - warehousing - sales". In response to the demand for environmentally friendly materials in the European and American markets, we launched expanded vermiculite reinforced brake pads, which reduced PM2.5 emissions by 85% compared with traditional products and passed REACH regulatory certification. In 2023, a new series of bus brake pads will be added, which will be unveiled at the 94th National Auto Parts Fair, further improving the product matrix of the six major vehicle categories. In the same year, overseas business reached a new high, with sales in Europe, North America, Japan and South Korea increasing by more than 50% year-on-year, driving the company's global market share to continue to expand. As of 2024, the company has accumulated more than 30 patents and scientific and technological achievements, and the proportion of R&D investment has stabilized at more than 25% of annual revenue
