Established in May 1989, China Reuse Resource Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Resources) is a state-owned enterprise under administration of China CO-OP Group and a president company of the China Resource Recycling Association. It has 49 secondary funding enterprises, 11 large nation-level demonstration bases for renewable resource industry, over 70 sorting centers, 3 regional collection, distribution and trade markets and over 5, 000 recycling branches.

At present, China Resources mainly runs three types of business: Metal scrap recycling, processing and sales; Recycling, storage, sorting, processing and sales of waste and worn electric appliances and electronic products; And resource-oriented recycling and scale business of scrapped cars.

In 2020, China Resource recycled 20 million tons of renewable resources of different types, with the annual business volume exceeding RMB 30 billion, profits and taxes of over RMB 3 billion and system registered employees of nearly 120, 000.
