Wei Mon Industry Co., Ltd. (WMI) established our environmentally sustainable materials division in 1999 under the guiding principle of "what is gained from nature will be returned to nature. " We have a strong commitment to the earth and the ideals of the environmental-sustainability movement. Our logo symbolizes our commitment to these ideals. The three leaves symbolize nature, safe, and eco-friendly protection. The circle at the base of tree trunk symbolizes an environmentally-sustainable life cycle. We regard "Natural, Safe, and Eco-friendly protection, and environmental Sustainability" as our highest ideal.

For years, Wei Mon has been devoted to the construction of environmentally-friendly public works projects. During the course of our waste water / sewer pipe engineering projects, we discovered the destructive power, which can create blockages in sewage pipes and cause public flooding emergencies. In response, the concept of how to reduce the damage of traditional plastic on the environment became an important topic at Wei Mon Industry. At the same time, in 1999, Wei Mon Industry created our Biodegradable Materials Division (today's Environmentally Sustainable Materials Division). The main goals of this division are "the development and research of completely biodegradable environmentally-friendly materials to replace traditional plastics that cannot breakdown in a natural environment".
