XinNeng (Zhangjiagang) Energy Ltd., a subsidiary of ENN Group, is located in Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park of Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone and was jointly established by XinNeng Investment Group Co. Ltd. Of ENN Holding Investment Co., Ltd, and Methanex in March 2007 with total investment of $80 million and registered capital of $26.68 million.
With the designed capacity of 1 mmt/a DME units, XinNeng (Zhangjiagang) Energy Ltd., occupies an area of 140, 000 m2 and will be constructed at three phases. The phase I of 200, 000 t/a project was completed and in operation on October 26th, 2007.
The company invested over RMB12 million ($1.76 m) and set up a unit to produce aerosol grade DME of 50, 000 t/a in 2008. With a two-stage process for both distillation and adsorption of this unit, the product is high in purity and free of bad odor, which can be widely used in the fields of insecticide, air refreshing agent, refrigerant, foaming agent for construction, spray painting, etc.
