Modern Metal & Refining Ltd. is a part of Modern Metal Group and was firstly established in Hong Kong in 1969. The main business nature is OEM aluminum and zinc alloy die-casting parts as well as lighting products. The services we provide include product & tooling design, tooling fabrication, die-casting, polishing, secondary machining (CNC machining), surface finishing (wet painting and electro-static powder painting) and sub-assembly.

We produce many different kinds of products and being a specialist in manufacturing high precision parts for Telecommunication Products, Measuring Instrument, Outboard Engines, Gear Boxes, Household Appliances and Lighting Fixtures, etc. Parts are exported to a wide range of customers from the US, Japan, Australia, France, Germany and many other European countries.

Shang Sha Modern Metal & Refining Ltd. was set up in 1992. It is a solely owned property. It is located in Dong Guan City, Guang Dong Province, PR. China. It takes one and half hours driving from Hong Kong border. This plant provides full range of services.

Shang Sha Modern Metal & Refining Ltd. is a fully operational plant which provides tooling design, tooling fabrication, die-casting, secondary operation, surface finishing, and sub-assembly. There are six buildings and total building area is 200,000 square feet. There are currently 900 employees. The key persons in management level (including QC & Engineers) are employed from Hong Kong.

In May 1997, we have successfully obtained the ISO 9002 Quality management Certificate by British Standard Institute (BSI) and become the first ISO accredited die-casting manufacturer in the territory.

Modern Metal, Japan was set up in January, 1996. It is also a solely owned property and located in Osaka, Japan. This office aims at providing liasion facility between Hong Kong Modern Metal and Japan customers. Moreover, marketing promotion and customer services are also the main focus and are carried out by our experienced Japanese staff.
