Hunan Sunward Science and Technologies Co., Ltd which is the subsidiary of Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd (listed corporation stock code: 002097) is dedicated to R&D, manufacture, sales, as well as operation of light manned aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in general aviation field. A variety of manned light aircrafts and UAVs have been developed to fill in the domestic blank. In 2011, "Sunward Aurora", the light sport aircraft with full composite material, became the first light sport aircraft possessing national self-owned brand authenticated by China Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC).
