Established in 2001, Co-effort IP Affairs Center is part and parcel of the reputable Co-effort Law Firm that practices in most of legal areas in Shanghai, China. Led by attorney You Minjian, one of the Best Ten Young Lawyers of Shanghai and the best debater of the First Debate Contest of Shanghai Lawyer, most of the center members graduated from the prestigious law schools of China with L. L. M Degree or Double Degree. Some of the attorneys used to serve in Public Security System and Court, while some of them are patent and trademark lawyers. From the establishment of Co-effort IP Affairs Center till the end of 2003, we have represented a broad range of clients for about 300 IPR litigation and non-litigation cases and some of these cases gained great attention among the public. Meanwhile we have also successfully held many professional seminars and conferences, such as Seminar of Shanghai IPR Protection of Software 2001, Seminar of Copyright Protection of Software 2001, and Forum of China IPR Protection of Software 2003 etc.

In order to promote, the healthy development of domestic software industry of China, in 2001, associated with Shanghai Withub and Pchome, Co-effort IP Affairs Center initiated and established the Development Promotion Union of China Software. With our website, it becomes possible for us to unite a group of outstanding IP lawyers countrywide to serve our clients cooperatively and fulfill our client-oriented tenet. Our high standards for excellence and commitment let us do what is necessary to serve our clients with efficiency and high quality. There are 3 departments Practice Department, PR Department and Administration Department, strongly supporting the smooth operation of our center. Every single department shares its own responsibility definitely as cooperates with each other closely. With the operation mode of corporation management and the strong team spirit, the tenet of Co-effort IP Affairs Center has been able to be implemented and carried through our services for our clients.

Practice Department
Practice Dep. Is the key to our high quality service. Abundant IP services including copyright, patent, trademark, IP litigation and trade secrets we provide to our clients are not only the embodiments of confidence and practice ability of members in Practice Department, but also the purpose to satisfy various need of different client in different field.

Public Relations Department
PR. Dep. Has been focusing on building a prompt, smooth, and secure Information Bridge between client and our center. We are dedicated to explore various communication channels in order to provide more approaches for our clients to know more about what and how we can help them to settle their problems. At the same time, with every member s active involvement and strong commitment to the community, PR. Dep. Reinforces the relationships with mass media and some charities so that our members can actively participated in numerous community, civic, and charitable endeavors throughout these years.

Administration Department
Admin. Dep. Takes charge of the coordination between Practice Dep. And PR. Dep...The set-up of this department makes the share of inner-information be more efficient, avoiding bringing to our clients any unnecessary barrier and burden caused by unsmooth information communication in our center. Meanwhile, evaluation system ensures our members strong practice ability to serve our clients.
