Liming Chemical Research and Desgin Institute Co., Ltd. Located in the city of Luo Yang, founded in 1965, and now is directly under the CHEMECHNINA. At present, there are 876 staffs, 1 academician of Chninese Academy of Engineering, 26 professor senior engineers, 151 senior engineers and 194 engineers. Over the past 50 years, LRICI has implemented 273 certified scientific achievements, applied 128 national invention patents with 76 patents under authority. LRICI has developed four fields of polyurethane raw materials, fluoride-bearing electronic chemicals, hydrogen peroxide and chemical propellants.
Liming Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Is the initiator of China anthraquinone(AQ) process for production of hydrogen peroxide with fixed Palladium catalyst bed. This technology won the National Science Conference Prize in 1978, and twice won the National Science and Technology Progress Prize respectively in 1985 and 1995. Over the past 30 years, Liming Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Had spread this technology to more than 60 enterprises in China, over 80 sets of plants in China had been built by using this technology. In recent yeas, Liming Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd continuously improved hydrogen peroxide production technology and has worked out advanced three-solvent working solution system(AR-TOP-TBU) and new Palladium Catalyst.
