In 2002, the Group invested to build a hi-tech CD production base --- Nanmei Science Garden, which covers an area of 60 mu, and integrated with CD production, audiovisual manufacture, publishing and issue, research and exhibition of digital technology. Cost 330million RMB, the 1 st stage of the project has built 30, 000sq. Ms of building area, introduced 21 world-leading production lines such as multilayer high-density DVD, writable CD-R, DVD-R and mother-disc, and the annual turnout is 260million pieces of CD products. At present, the 2 nd stage of the project is being built. After the project is finished, the total investment of Science Garden will reach 980million RMB, the total building area will be 80, 000sq. Ms, 84 CD production lines will be built, the annual turnout will be 800million pieces of CD serial products, the annual production value will be 1.3 billion RMB. And it will become one of the largest CD production base in China.
