In 1997, LG group invested LG central Air-conditioning in China. Then in 2005, the company invested 30 million dollars to build a 13.3-hectare new factory in the Chengyang Development Zone of Qingdao. With the new factory being put into operation, the company imported a production line for heat pump series units, combined air-conditioners and fan coils, based on the production of lithium bromide refrigerators, screw compressors and centrifuges, so as to provide more product varieties and better services for the customers.
