Founded in April 2002, Dragon Special Resin (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. (DSR), approved by Xiamen City Government and by the Ministry of Commerce, is a foreign investment enterprise. Located in the Haicang Investment Zone of Xiamen city, the DSR facility occupies a total site area of 23.84 hectares. With the investment totaling US$313 million, DSR has several nationally promoted projects, such as the Specialty Resin Production Line, capable of producing 320, 000 tons of specialty polyester annually, and the Centralized Utility Center in the South Industrial Zone of Haicang. The main products of DSR are Bottle Grade Chips, Industrial Grade Chips as well as other related high quality products. DSR also provides public utility such as steam, heat through heat-transferring medium and electricity.

DSR has a continuous polymerization line with a daily capacity of 900 tons of pet polymer, making it among the top single line units in the world. DSR also has three Solid-State Polymerization lines, capable of producing different grade of polyester chips. DSR's production facility is equipped with most advanced technologies and state-of-art equipment imported from Japan, the United States and Italy. After completion of three 220T/H Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers and one 100MW Extractive Condensated Turbine Generator, DSR will proceed with phase II expansion project of three 480T/H Steam Boilers and two 100MW Turbine Generators to meet increasing energy demands of Haicang South Industrial Zone. Meanwhile, DSR is building its dedicated berthing facilities in order to optimize logistics.

DSR invests more than RMB100 million, 4.8% of its total investment, for environmental protection. DSR's environmental conservation efforts far exceed the national standards. DSR is committed to the good practices for both business development and social welfare.
