ComNav is also the very first Chinese company to develop, design and produces combined GNSS (GPS and GLONASS) plus BeiDou OEM board. Its technology already been used in lots of applications such as surveying, construction, machine control, agriculture, intelligent transportation, precise timing, deformation monitoring, unmanned system and so on.
ComNav was founded in March 2012 by Dr. Yongquan Wang, who worked in geodesy and high precision GNSS technology for decades. He is undisputed best expert within the Chinese high precision GNSS industry. In 1996, Dr. Wang developed already the first Chinese GNSS receiver and in 2008, he developed the first Chinese high precision GPS OEM board. Most of the employees in ComNav have years of experience in the high precision GNSS.
ComNav is actually a 150 employees company and more and more talented people are joining the company in its rapid growth development. As a R&D company, more than half of the ComNav employees are engineers often with double specialisation. ComNav is investing 10% of the whole year revenue into R&D. That's actually much more than in the industry practice.
