Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory, a member of Shanghai Building Material (Group) General Company, lies in Qingpu Industry Park in Shanghai covering an area of 60, 000 square meters approximately, and has more than 300 employees including about 40 engineers and technicians.

In 1986, Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory introduced a full set of mineral-wool production line from Japan NITTO BOSEKI CO., LTD.,

And in 2002, it newly built up a production line reaching advanced national level. Plant total production capacity is more than 40, 000 tons annually. It is No. 1 in respect of production capacity in China, and has kept No. 1 in production and sales volume in the same industry in China over a series of years. Its products have been exported to Japan, South Korea, Germany, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions. The export volume accounts for 40% or more of the total sales volume. It has various varieties and types of products mainly comprising of "Oriental Cherry" and "ABM" mineral wool thermal insulation slab, mineral wool wire meshed and glass fiber cloth facing blanket, core material in color-coated steel sandwich panel, agricultural mineral wool products, fireproof mineral wool slab, insulation pipe-section and granulated wool.
