Taizhou Jitai Worsted Limited Stock Company is located in the urban area of Taizhou. It has a production capability of 20, 000 spindles with worsted spinning weaving dyeing and finishing, and has been a corporate member of China Wool Textile Industry Association and a licenced enterprise in using the pure wool symbol of IWS.

Jitai has now about 1, 700 employees including more than 200 staff spacialized in textile engineering and business administration. It covers an area of about 74, 000 square meters. About eighty sets of critcal updated equipment and testing instruments which reach the advanced level in middle nineties, were imported form Italy, Germany, Japan and Switzerland etc. 3 million metres of Jitai brand all wool, blended worsted piece goods and 1000 tons of MEIYANG brand all wool, blended production line cinsisting of the equipment imported from Japan, Germany has just been built, with which 40 thousand suits of high grade. Germents can be produced annually.

"Jitai" brand wool fabrics such as one-sided gabardine, doeskin, venetian double plain, dress suiting, fancy suiting, valitin, serge are of higher market fame and good market occuption, and have sold well in more than twenty provinces and metropolises in China, HongKong and international markets. The yarn count can reach 11 tex or less (90 Nm or more ), and the yarn evenness can reach the level of 50% or less in USTER REPORT, and the fabric of light weight can reach 50g/y or less (100G/M2 or less).
